Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) is responsible for managing all airports within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. ADAC was created in 2006 via a mandate from the General Secretariat Executive Council of Abu Dhabi to drive the development of the aviation industry in the Emirate, as part of the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030. Wholly owned by the government of Abu Dhabi Emirate, ADAC manages five airports and operates a number of subsidiaries to its portfolio of assets, which cover the full range of aviation-related services. The company is headquartered at its principal asset, Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
