Risk

Eni has developed and adopted an Integrated Risk Management Model (IRM) directed at ensuring that management make risk-informed decisions, through the assessment and analysis of risks, including medium and long term risks, carried out with an integrated, comprehensive and perspective vision. Risk Governance assigns a central role to the Board of Directors, which defines the nature and level of risk compatible with the strategic objectives, and includes in its own evaluations all the risks that may be relevant to business sustainability in the medium to long term.

Opportunities

Eni has developed a long-term strategy that will make it possible to seize new opportunities for development and efficiency, as well as further improving safety in the workplace and combating climate change by exploiting know-how, proprietary technologies, innovation and also the flexibility and resilience of assets. As per risks, the opportunity management process connected with climate change is part of the Integrated Risk Management (IRM) Model.
