Grasim Bhiwani Textiles Limited (GBTL) having its registered office in Mumbai, is one of the few integrated textile mills in the country with two spinning divisions namely, Bhiwani Textile Mills (BTM) and Elegant Spinners having a combined capacity of 35,728 spindles and a Weaving division having 134 looms with a fabric weaving capacity of 15 lakh meters per month.
We sell fabric both in the domestic as well as in the international market across geographies. In the Domestic OTC (Over the Counter) market, we sell fabric under two brands, Grasim and Graviera Suiting while in the International market we sell fabric to well-known global brands and retailers.

Although, we do not for-see any immediate threat to our business operations in next 10 years due to climate changes, we plan to take appropriate measures to prepare ourselves to be adaptive and responsive.
We expect climate related restrictions on our manufacturing and more for products. We have taken many steps to reduce our GHG emissions in manufacturing and would like to focus more on products. We are further improving our energy performance including increasing renewable share to effect reduction in CO2 intensity per ton of product.
Water is going to be a limiting factor for industrial and economic growth. A number of water reduction, recycling projects were undertaken in FY15.
Product Innovation will help us in ensuring that our product basket is comparable with or better than that of competition. Our design team develops new design and products taking into consideration fashion and market feedback. At GBTL, the main steps involved in new product development includes
